McCracken Golf Course is a championship 18 hole links/lakes style course, boasting spectacular views of the Hindmarsh Valley and beyond.  Designed by Tony Cashmore, the International Championship standard course boasts more than 85 bunkers and 14 lakes to give a challenging course layout.

McCracken Country Club’s new resident golf professional has been a full PGA Pro since 1988 and has held professional appointments at Clubs including Port Pirie, Mount Barker and most recently Willunga. Along with wife Monique and Pro Shop Manager Gab Virag, the new McCracken golf team are available to help with all of your golfing needs. The new look ‘On Course Golf’ Pro Shop offers a range of quality & affordable merchandise for you to purchase. Also available for hire – a full fleet of new carts, fitted with state of the art GPS technology, new to South Australia. For lessons, our flight scope can radar track your golf swing and ball flight to show which clubs are best suited to your swing.


Introducing Anne-Marie Knight
Married with 2 young children, Anne-Marie has been a member of the ALPG for 15 years and a member of the PGA since 2008. In 1999  Anne-Marie won the Ladies German Open, beating Laura Davies, and in 2003, finished 5th in the Ladies Australian Masters held at Royal Pines.
Anne-Marie strengths include driving, wedges, course strategy and mental toughness.
Introducing Ben Traeger
Having completed his PGA Traineeship under the guidance of Chris Holliday at both Highercombe and Riverside Golf Clubs, Ben joined forces with Peter Bickley to run the On Course Golf shop at the Mt Barker Golf Club and now comes to McCracken as a full member of the PGA of Australia.  Ben enjoys teaching players of all levels and has valuable experience in teaching, club fitting, club repair and running golf events.  Ben is available at the McCracken Pro Shop most days to help you with your golfing needs.
